Prom's over. La Soiree 2008 <3
i like prom. :D i thought okay the food wasnt very good considering its Ritz Carlton but the people/atmosphere was sort of there, plus camwhoring of course hahah i thought it was fun. it was a dazzling night :) it could have lasted longer though :/ so sad through all the camwhoring i didnt take photos with many people whom i wanted to yeahhhhhh i think some of my class guys took even more photos than me!!!! grrr. and its sort of the last time i'll see everyone together again. like, the whole hwachong. i dont know when i'll see many people again like esp those whom im not very close to but still like happy friends. and its impossible to see the whole batch gathered together. so well, at least prom was meaningful i guess :D i rmb the sec4 nanyang one kinda sucked, after it i was totally regretting going it was like imba waste of money-.-
i sort of miss prom, like keep looking forward to it, spent DAYS in town searching for dress and everything. now its like over in a few hours. gahhh. photos on facebook :) i read my prev post and i was saying prom is such a headache cause of our the dress searching/shopping which made us all SO TIRED and made our feet hurt... many blisters cause of shopping. and made us spend SO MUCH MONEY such that all my money saved during As period are gone :( :( all the preparations which took so much time and money. all i can say it everything has been worth it. :) in fact, i dont mind going through everything again just to experience the few hours of friday night again, seee i said i sort of miss prom :( alright, if i can say this i guess i should be glad :) i was asking xh if uni has prom, we dont know but guess the whole experience will be different. one, its not Hwachong anymore :'( (okay i love hwachong alot:)) and two, we'll be like what, 22/23 years old???? so old already la. how to compare to now when we're 18. sigh.
pre-prom: met meisiew and jiayuan (our prom queen :D) at lot one then went bpp for subway+wait for sharon. went hazelpark condo clubhouse to do hair the woman is quite zai haha but the walk into the clubhouse is horribleeeeee the condo's frigging HUGE. talking rubbish while she was doing our hair, haha. chose accessories for jiayuan :D hahaha and painted some nails... (okay this sounds quite brainless) ... oh oh oh I DID PROM QUEEN'S NAILS CAN HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH :D :D :D realised to our horror we're running late!!!! called 2 cabs, shared with meisiew and we left first, i went to Ritz Carlton while meisiew went her brother's gf house. hung out with mianrong vanessa and eugenia in the hotel room I LOVED THE HOTEL ROOM THE VIEW IS SO COOL NO WONDER 400PLUS BUCKS FOR A NIGHT AND THE ROOM WAS QUITE SMALL, changed, waited for delphine my brilliant makeup artist :D okay after that things were a blur it was like 6plus alr when she came and was doing my makeup (we were to reach ballroom at 7pm) .......makeup makeup and makeup and and and ohhh picked up and missed alot of xianhuan's callls im so sorry dearrrr and everyone was rushing doing this and that and the guys who obviously didnt have as much to do started to camwhore haha :D picked up xianhuan's stufff and all of us left the room, headed downstairs (luckily our room's in Ritz itself) and while it was 7plus alr many people were outside and some camwhoring started........ okay everything was quite a blur la but quite fun haha :D
prom itself passed even faster, photos and more photos. the emcee was quite irritating towards the end when he went ard trying to "catch" people standing to go up on stage cause too many people were taking photos and completely ignoring whats going on on stage aka what the emcee was saying. but thats expected of a prom night right. haha its not like some wedding or something. the mr body beautiful event was quite funny hahahahahha okay and the others after that either quite lame or dontknow whats happening cause of all the photo-taking. but my dear friend jiayuan was crowned Prom Queen :D :D OKAY im a very proud friend now hahahahah there was practically a Queue forming with guys to take photos with jiayuan wahhhhhh :D :D and prom ended at maybe 12plus am, my heels were killing me :( maybe thats why i couldnt take photos with more people sighhhhhhhhh D:
after prom, went up to the room to get my stufff. joined in the celebrations of charis' birthday for a while with click 5 + junyu + ian then went cine for midnight movie with some of the dancers. me helen meisiew xianhuan rachel ezra casey, watched Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist which was zzz i watched the thriller last week and thought it was good but it kinda turned out otherwise. there's the possibility that i was too tired and not paying enough attention hence couldnt understand anything and only laughing at small insignificant jokes... but i thought it kinda sucked. BLEH. then it was like 330am when it ended haha and i was so surprised/shocked to see ALOT OF PEOPLE when we went to the restroom it almost felt like cine in the afternoon!!!!!-.- madness i didnt know singaporeans nowadays have such active night-lifes/lives. then went into hk cafe (which operates 24hrs and i didnt know until yst) to nua and talk random stuff blahh until 6am HAHA ordered random food too the whole night was random. imagine 7 people in semiformal/almost-glam outfits (we didnt change out of our prom stuff) in hk cafe with makeup and almost-elaborate hairdos hahaha and due to our tiredness, talking nonsense and stuff that didnt make much sense. HAHA, many people were staring at us. but it was okay la :D then helen's wonderful mom came to fetch us, ezra and casey back to their hotel and the rest of us girls to helen's house. we reached at like 630AM. took some more photos cause we couldnt bear to remove our makeup and everything heeee then finally, removed makeup&hair which took so long to prepare, all gone in a few minutes. bathed. slept at 8am, woke up at 11am. ate, helen's class having some bbq/gathering... and left.
CAME HOME, used the com, looked at others' prom photos until i got a throbbing headache. wanted to upload photos but had to wait till my sister got back to get the wires... tried to sleep but failed, somehow. talked on the phone and blah, went online again (fb!!) to finally upload photos HAD LIKE THREE ALBUMS tagged people till my fingers went numb. took some time to look at the photos again and piss myself off cause didnt take photos with many people i wanted to, emo awhile cause i miss prom/my class/mad dancers... slept at 4AM and woke up today at 2PM hahahahahahha so fun didnt have such screwed up biological clock for a looongg time. :D online again now, fb again EVERYONE IS ON FACEBOOK
tmr's MAD CHALET hahaha so many activities ehhh sigh i hope it'll be fun. :) okay having a headache again gotta goooo and stop using the com. bye everyone, prom was great, one of the best best memories ever <3
